Welcome to Knüg, where luxury meets sustainability! I'm Bernadette, the founder and owner of Knüg. With over 12 years of experience as a buyer, I've scoured the globe, sourcing from artisans in India, Indonesia, Turkey, and China. Witnessing the industry's excess and unethical practices first-hand, I was driven to establish Knüg as a beacon of ethical fashion.

At Knüg, we're committed to using only natural fabrics and fibres, free from harmful chemicals. Our slow production chain prioritises fair wages and respectful treatment of workers. We believe in making a positive impact through conscious consumerism.

Based in the UK, we design our collections in-house and source directly from ethical suppliers, eliminating unnecessary middlemen. This allows us to offer luxury pieces at accessible prices, without compromising on quality.

Our fabrics are carefully selected for their superior quality and sustainability. We exclusively use renewable and biodegradable fibres, ensuring our collections are eco-friendly from start to finish. Each garment is crafted with longevity in mind, using sustainable practices by skilled artisans.

Less is more is Knüg’s motto. All our items are classic, timeless pieces that won’t break the bank. We produce in small batches for quality control and less waste. We care deeply about how our products are made and to minimise the impact on the environment, we monitor responsible production from the raw materials through to our finished products.

Here at Knüg we believe everyone can make a difference by the way we live our lives. Our high-quality fabrics are sourced from ethical suppliers. We do not use synthetic or non-biodegradable fabrics and our focus is quality not quantity. We design with longevity in mind and only use natural raw materials, created through sustainable practices by skilled artisans. Our collections are made from renewable and biodegradable fibres. Our manufacturing process respects the people, environment, and animals. We use local artisans and eco-friendly fabrics to create perfect, long-lasting clothes and accessories with the lowest possible environmental impact.

Knüg Silk is kind to the planet. We source the best-quality sustainable silk exclusively from suppliers with strong eco-credentials. 


The Toquilla Palm we use in our stylish Panama hats is harvested in Ecuador. The craft has been passed down for centuries, and is a cultural practice identified by UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
